Supporting a young person with their mental health
A workshop that teaches employees the signs of mental health struggles in young people and children, focusing on practical ways to talk to them and navigate their challenges.
With 1 in 6 young people experiencing a mental health issue in the UK, parents are often silently struggling in the background

We walk through how employees can recognise the signs of mental health struggles in young people and children. And how to then open a conversation with them.
We explore common mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression and eating disorders, and how you can support a young person who may be experiencing them, including appropriate signposting options. We also emphasise the importance of not attempting to diagnose without a professional assessment.
We will walk through what crisis support looks like for a young person experiencing suicidal thoughts or self-harm.
Supporting a young person with their mental health can be emotionally demanding. We explore why looking after your own wellbeing is essential, but often hard, and how to navigate this. The workshop will cover how to set boundaries, recognising your own limits, and seeking support when you need it.

Supporting your own self-care
You can’t pour from an empty cup. We help employees recognise the emotional toll of supporting others and prioritise their own mental health in the process. From small daily resets to setting boundaries after difficult conversations, we share practical ways to protect your energy while still showing up with care.
