Confidentiality

Confidentiality and its limits in 1:1 support

Everything discussed during 1-1 support calls is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with Everymind Solutions Ltd Privacy Policy, UK data protection legislation, and applicable safeguarding laws. However, there are important and necessary limits to confidentiality:

Safeguarding concerns

If, during a support session, there is a concern that you or another person may be at risk of serious harm, we may need to share relevant information to ensure safety and to meet our safeguarding and legal obligations. This may include sharing information with appropriate internal teams or, where necessary, external services.

Support and supervision

To ensure you receive safe, ethical, and high-quality support, elements of your case may be discussed within the Everymind 1-1 support team for the purposes of supervision, safeguarding, and service quality. Wherever possible, this will be done without identifying information. If you would prefer that your information is not shared within the team, you can inform your support team member. Please note that if a safeguarding concern is identified, information may still need to be shared to ensure appropriate action is taken. These exceptions are applied carefully, proportionately, and only where necessary.
